This space took careful planning and execution to create an overall sense of clean, simple sophistication.

Company: Wunderkind (formerly Bounce Exchange)

Description: The Bounce Exchange build-out brought a downtown vibe to The New York Times Building. After having built out their first office space, Pass Construction was called back to do it again.

The high density benching system is meshed with open spaces, fun activity areas, and a fully-stocked pantry.

Description: A multi-phased occupied build-out to ultimately complete a full floor corporate headquarters with architectural lighting, glass office fronts, open work areas, meeting and huddle rooms, and common areas all utilizing bipolar ionized air to help combat Covid-19.

This space also includes a state of the art podcast room built with sound isolation construction for worldwide broadcasting.

Description: Nickelodeon opened their first ever retail store in the Toys R Us Times Square flagship store to great fanfare.

The store-within-a-store design was as clever as the kids network. The trademark orange irregular footprint splashed from the floor up to the ceiling above, with interactive displays for the ultimate Nickelodeon experience.

Description: ‘Stuffed inside’ F.A.O. Schwarz was the Build-A-Bear Workshop.

This shop-in-shop was built to build furry friends. With that in mind we put our hearts into this project, just like a heart is put into every Build-A-Bear.

Description: If cars interested you more than bears, then you could have built your ride at Ridemakerz, a few shops down from Build-A-Bear in F.A.O. Schwarz.

Stepping inside was like entering a dream garage with diamond plate wall panels, faux garage doors, and custom millwork. This design would set the stage for the ultimate car build.

Description: Babies R Us partnered with Thyme Maternity to bring in-store shops across the US ranging in size from 250-1,000 square feet.

The location in Union Square included the installation of branding material and entrance displays featuring all the latest trends from the Canadian maternity brand inside.

Description: Another great installation within Babies R Us was 4Moms.

This installation was built to display their latest robotic self folding strollers and playards. The clean detail driven, installation emphasized the user friendly technology built into the traditional baby carriage.

Description: This lower floor residence uses a ‘knife edge’ cove light in its interior living spaces to provide a soft, bright environment.

This NYC home showcases Pass Construction’s ability to execute details for an incredible living environment including marble counters, walnut flooring, silk wall coverings, and custom cabinetry.

Description: The renovation of this occupied UWS building lobby required careful planning and coordination to minimize the impact to current residents.

The custom millwork and lighting with new mailbox enclosures and desk surround provided a more modern building entrance.

Description: From express to stand alone stores, Pass Construction has built the beloved toy store chain locations. One of the more impressive feats was a temporary store for the holiday season at Caesar’s Bay after Superstorm Sandy.

Other work included store refreshes and building out in-store shops at Manhattan flagship stores.

Description: From maternity clothes to newborn essentials, Babies R Us had all the greatest baby gear located under one roof.

Projects in NYC stores included many shop in shop buildouts, store upgrades and rebranding to convert the Union Square location into a flagship location.

Description: F.A.O. Schwarz was the premier toy store in NYC, located steps away from Central Park.

Big Piano featured in the movie Big, Build-A-Bear Workshop, Ridemakerz, Marbles Brain Store just to name a few! F.A.O. Schwarz projects were as fun to build as they were to visit.

Description: Caesar’s Bay Shopping Center was devastated during Superstorm Sandy as the concrete pier buckled from the waves.

The complex had to be structurally evaluated with damaged slab removed and new topping slab poured. Work was expedited while NYC struggled to return to normal in the storm aftermath.

Description: Radiant Skin Dermatology and Laser was designed and built for the discerning patient.

Located on Central Park South, this build-out boasts finer than usual finishes with millwork and wallcoverings providing that high end midtown Manhattan medical experience.

Description: Quest Diagnostic lab locations were built with the specialized mechanical, electrical and plumbing infrastructure to meet requirements.

The use of a clean, soft color palette creates calming environments for both staff and patients alike.

Description: Bowlero Times Square has a state of the art arcade featuring the latest digital games mixed among boardwalk classics to keep everyone entertained.

Roll-up garage doors create a prize redemption area for that nostalgic feeling of yesteryear… Coney Island anyone?

Description: The interior build-out of a ballet driven exercise studio with a welcoming reception and changing locker rooms to serve Pure Barre’s discerning members.

This modern design also incorporates a retail environment worthy of its Tribeca location.
